Regular inspections should continue but thoughts for winter are in mind! Swarming impulses should be on the wane provided there is plenty of space for incoming nectar. Wasps may become a problem, if so be prepared to reduce entrances. Any excess of crops should be removed before looking at varroa applications towards the end of the month. Feeding should be in mind too ready for the months ahead and looking at hives in case anything needs replacing to make sound and secure.
